Use local keywords in your website title and heading tags

Just like any other keywords you target, your address should appear in the title tags and heading tags. These serve as indicators of your physical address to customers and Google. Mention your city/suburb, neighbouring suburbs, postcode, state and phone number.

List your business and address on local directories

Listing your business and address on local directories provides more emphasis on your location. Don't go overboard with this - Prominent local directories like TrueLocal, Hotfrog, and local council directories are best.

A great way to build more reviews up for your business is to automate the process. E.g. If you run an E-commerce store as well as a physical location, E-mail you buyers afterwards and give them a link to review the product. Or, if you're a plumber, ask for your Customer's E-mail address and again, send them the link to review your work.
