To add a new page to your business website we need to first create an article, and then link the article by creating a menu item. Lets look at these two easy steps in detail.

Create a new article in the Article Manager

Login to the administrator area of your website, then go to the article manager, under "Content" in the main menu. Click on the new button to create a new article, or if you have an article which has simular content or settings you can click "copy" to duplicate that article. Once you have added your text and images there are a couple of settings before you can save the article:

• Add a title (the alias, used for the page url will be automatically generated from this)
• Add a section and category to organise your content
• Don't go too long without saving! For security reasons you will be logged out after a certain period of inactivity.

Give the title and the content and save the new article. You can also specify the meta tags in the meta information panel. Now the article is ready. The next step is to create a new menu item to link to this newly created article.

Create a new menu item

Go to "Menus" and select the menu to which you would like to add your new article. A websites main menu is usually called "mainmenu" or "topmenu".

This will show all the menu items under the selected menu. To add a new menu item, you guessed it, click "New". Here you can select the menu item "type". Click Articles to expand that menu, and select "Article layout". This brings up the article layout options.

First under the Parameters (Basic) click select, which presents a list of your website articles, and select the new article.

Give the menu item a title, hit save, and your done!
